Search Tips
  • If you are familiar with the GSS study we recommend that you use the Advance Search utility to locate the documents you are looking for otherwise use the Basic Search.
  • The Advance search will help you locate the document(s) quickly if you happen to know the exact title of the document, the full name of the author, or the publisher name. Partial information of these attributes can also be used in combination keeping in mine that the Advance search works using the “And” logic in its search.
  • The Basic search engine is designed to locate all documents that contain any part on the entered search criteria. The Basic search engine is based on Boolean “Or” logic.
Advanced Document Search

Advance search can help the user to locate the exact document from the first try if the user happens to know the exact title of the document. Otherwise they can narrow their search by providing the full name of the document’s author or even the name of the publisher. A user can also use combinations of the fields below to locate a document. It is good to note here that the Advance search engine works with the Boolean “And” logic so if a user is not sure about the information he/she is entering it would be best not to enter it.
