Walter, Emilie Patricia, "The Impact of Feminism on Subjective Class Identification," Unpublished Master's thesis, College of William and Mary, 1983.

Abstract:

Feminist women follow a status sharing model: their subjective class identities are influenced by characteristics other than the male head of household's attainments. Anti-feminist women follow a status borrowing model. Both feminist and anti-feminist men follow a status independent model by referring to their own attainments for subjective class identification.
