Abstract:

While American economic growth has been very good during the last year 200 years, social attitudes and governmental intervention are now hindering our growth mechanisms. In an attempt to improve the system, we are losing that system's benefits of freedom and affluence as well as our ability to fulfill our moral obligation to help the rest of the world become affluent.
