Abstract:
Support steadily grew for egalitarian sex roles until the mid 1980's when this trend stabilized. Though there is increased acceptance of divorce, marriage and having children still are highly valued. While people have grown more permissive over premarital sex, extramarital sex is still viewed negatively.
