Abstract:

Women, nonwhites, widow/ers, frequent church attenders, and the elderly are less likely to support abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, and suicide. Pro-life values are also more prevalent among poorly educated and low income individuals as well as Southerners and those living in the North Central region.
