Santi, Lawrence, "Confidence in Selected Institutions in 1975: An Attempt at Replication Across Two National Surveys," Social Indicators Research, 7 (January, 1980), 401-418.
Abstract:
There are differences in the percentages of respondents showing confidence in institutions on two surveys. Much of this difference can be attributed to the nature of the questions preceding the confidence items. However, despite these differences both surveys show similar relationships between background characteristics of respondents and attitudinal responses.
