Abstract:
Women with a Catholic heritage have a higher age of first marriage than Baptist women and for Protestants until the 1950's birth cohort. Catholic raised men are more likely to never have married than Baptists for the 1930-1969 cohorts and Protestants for the 1950-1969 cohorts. Unions between those of the same faith tend to last longer than interfaith unions.
