Rammstedt, Beatrice, “The BFI-10: Validation and Predictive Power,” Paper presented to the Association of Public Opinion Research, Montreal, Canada, 2006.
Abstract:
In considering a 1990 telephone reinterview, much variability was found in response to complicated questions on abstract attitude issues or involving difficult cognitive tasks. Wording effects caused some variability on residential, education, neighborhood, and safety questions and some evidence of social desirability bias in neighborhood safety.
