Abstract:
States with a higher proportion of evangelical Protestants had more pro-life attitudes, more pro-choice legislators, and less NARAL membership than states with a low proportion of evangelicals. States with a high proportion of Catholics have more pro-life lobbying and more NARAL members than do states with few Catholics.
