Abstract:
Females and those experiencing large numbers of deaths in the family are more likely to report contact with the dead than males or those who have not lost many relatives recently. While blacks are more likely to report contact with the dead when viewing God as a Judge, whites were more likely to do so when viewing God as a lover.
