Jacob, Herbert, "Women and Divorce Reform," in Women, Politics, and Change, Louise A. Tilly and Patricia Guren (eds.), New York: Russell Sage Foundation, 1990.

Abstract:

In the revision of divorce law after the 60's, feminists have been fairly inactive due to the low priority given the issue while their opponents have been motivated and active. Women also do not occupy many positions in policy making, and have had little funding to monitor such legislation.
