Davis, James A., "The Log Linear Analysis of Survey Replications," in Social Indicator Models, Kenneth C. Land and Seymour Spilerman (eds.), Russell Sage Foundation: New York, 1975, 75-127.
Abstract:
Despite the problems that must be taken into account: cohort changes, decreasing power in regard to more complex effects, and sensitivity to small cell frequencies, the log linear model is highly useful. Substantively, tolerance has increased significantly between the two studies and the increases are greater than can be accounted for by demographic factors alone.
