Abstract:
A stable attitude dimension concerning ideology of the state's role exists which can be predicted by considering a person's position within economic production. Class also predicts ideological beliefs with opposition to intervention growing from capitalists, managers, petty bourgeois, supervisors, and workers. The higher educated favor less intervention.
