Abstract:
Lesbian, gay, and bisexual workers earn less than similarly skilled heterosexual workers, even when controlling for occupation, region of residence, marital status, age, and education. This effect is especially pronounced among gay/bisexual men, who earn from 11% to 27% less than their heterosexual counterparts.
